Cyl-Tec's United States Department of Transportation (U.S.D.O.T.) and Transport Canada (T.C.) approved 3AA steel cylinders include sizes 20CF through 300CF. The line of portable cryogenic cylinders, which includes industrial, medical and beverage carbonation CO2 cylinders, are the most durable and have the highest performance specifications in the industry. Cyl-Tec stocks and sells all sizes of asbestos-free acetylene cylinders, and also provides a full line of aluminum cylinders.

Cyl-Tec operates the largest U.S.D.O.T. approved ultrasonic and hydrostatic high pressure cylinder testing center in the Midwest. Cyl-Tec's services also include acetylene cylinder re-qualification and expert portable cryogenic liquid cylinder repair that includes a 2 year warranty and pre-paid shipping both ways for 4 or more cylinders across the continental U.S.

Cyl-Tec sells and distributes a wide range of parts and accessories for compressed gas, and cryogenic cylinder applications, including ACRYLEX fast dry, water reducible cylinder paints and painting tools.

In 1991, after spending 35 successful years in the compressed gas distribution and welding supply industry, George Bennett spotted another opportunity. He envisioned the need for a cost effective, high quality source for compressed gas cylinder testing to serve gas and welding distributors. George's sons Jim, John, and Tom joined the Company in 1991, 1992, and 1998, respectively. The 3 sons had a combined 25 years of experience in the compressed gas and welding distribution industry. The family has always believed that their experience in this industry has helped them to better serve it.
