Cylinder Valves

Cylinder valves are devices that are used to control the venting of gas or liquid from a cylinder. With many application such working fluids or gases have been compressed to a degree that exceeds the surrounding ambient pressure, so any cylinder valve must be designed and manufactured with the precision and robustness needed to handle and control any substance, especially potentially volatile ones, that are under extreme pressure. Since a valve is also only as good as the seal it forms with a gas or liquid cylinder, as a poorly fitted connection will allow the precious contents of such vessels to gradually leak out into the atmosphere and, potentially, cause harm, it's also important that every valve be designed with exacting standards in mind.
